Do Not Speculate and Make True Statements!

Statements or evidence that many times are used by veterans include such things as "all the foliage was dead because of agent orange" or "I sprayed agent orange". While the veteran certainly may believe that was the case, it is of little or no value simply because there is no creditable evidence that shows that it was agent orange the vet sprayed and government document indicate differently. It cannot and will not be proven otherwise by a veteran ("pictures, buddy letters, statements, testimony, etc.) that agent orange was used where and when the government has admitted or that agent orange was what the veteran sprayed or saw sprayed. They simply will NOT accept this a creditable evidence.

The government will not accept and admit that it was sprayed in areas that they have not already admitted! We may all believe that it was used more than in admitted areas but it will take much more than a veteran's 40+ year old memory and those of his friends to get that done! They did not admit for 35 years that it was even used in Korea and only then when forced to and only then to areas where they had documents that show it being used in specific areas.

For someone to expect a decision saying that we are taking that "old vets faded memory" over government documents stating otherwise is simply not going to happen. And the effect of making such statements actually make your statement or sworn testimony more uncreditable. They then question any other facts that you say in support of your claim.

Make statements only that you can substantiate and does not go glaringly against the governments position on the use of agent orange, even if you believe differently. Make truthful statement and then back them up with creditable evidence that shows your creditability and cannot be discounted. Statements and testimony should be specific and believable along with documentation that substantiates what you say from reliable sources. Expressing such statements like "all vegetation was gone", "the land was bare", "the plants were killed by agent orange" is considered nothing more than speculation, faded memories and beliefs are not reliable and will NOT be accepted to support your case.

More to come
